2008年8月3日 · On the Nvidia download page, the 9800 GX2 drivers are still listed as 175.19 but the drivers for the 9800 GT are 177.79. These drivers also state that they support the GX2, so I was wondering if anyone knew why the 177.79 drivers aren't also listed for the GX2.

So I decided to put up the $ and get a little upgrade from my 7950GX2 who has served me well for a long time... and got the 9800 GX2. Only to discover my power supply was not compatible with the 9800GX2 because it does not have any connectors compatible with the "8-pin" connector on the 9800GX2.

So that's the simplest way to check if the PSU is the culprit. Re GX2: A single GX2 in place of 2 GTX, wasting one GTX and stepping up another is a bad choice. You'll be left in the lurch. 2 GTXs are a lot better than 1 GX2. And even 2 GX2s are not so phenomenally great because of their insufficient RAMs.
