Holding new plug (connected to ignition wire) against outside of cylinder head and cranking = no spark. I have an electrical probe-type tester, but am not sure how to use it, and where to use it on the electrical system.

My kid rode it and now wants to get rid of his CRF80 for this CR80 and I am not sure if I should hold out for a newer one or are these pretty good bikes? Anything to look out for? 2017年1月13日 · The engine was an 83cc 2-stroke reed valve, liquid-cooled single cylinder. The wheel rims were aluminum alloy. The rear tire is a Dunlop K695. The front brake master cylinder and lever are the same as the 1998 CR125R and CR250R. Both wheels have disc brakes.

2002年1月6日 · My son's '97 CR80 has only 60psi of compression even after a rebuild & break-in. There is no spec in the manual, but I'm convinced this is too low. It's all stock except for Boyesen reeds. Piston, ring, & gaskets are all Honda, and the cylinder looks good. Porting is also stock.

2008年8月11日 · 1997 Cr80 Big wheel. Bike is in great condition and has a new crank bearings, crank seals, new rod, new rod bearings ,new piston and rings. Bike maybe has 3 hours on it since the new parts have been installed.
