In future builds, REEN Cars will offer engine displacements from 3.6 liters to 4.0 liters. The flat-six features a custom exhaust with an electronic “E-flap” to control the noise level.

Aug 18, 2024 · REEN Cars call this the Porsche 964 RS GT - a modern interpretation of the 1991 Porsche 911 RS N/GT, of which 291 examples were built. It was, essentially, the 964 generation’s equivalent of a 911 GT3, with more power, less weight, and stiffer chassis than the 964 Carrera, upon which it was based.

This is the REEN Concept RSGT that blends the best of old-school air-cooled RS with the best of water-cooled new-school GT. It does so with four little switches on a custom Momo Prototipo and a 997 GT3 engine in the rear. Yes, a water-cooled Mezger flat-six in a 964 body. This is essentially one man’s vision that he hopes others will share.

This particular 964 is a prototype restomod created by Reen Cars in Germany, known as the Reen Concept RSGT. The vision behind this exceptional build comes from Philip Hoffman, the company’s founder, who transformed the 964 into something extraordinary by fitting it with a GT3 engine in the rear.

I wanted to stay in 100mm bore to reduce the cost (keep the barrels), less pistons weight, so less contrains at high revs.
