Feb 8, 2009 · The engines will interchange between the 91-95 with no changes to wiring, carbs, etc The suspension will interchange from 91-92 to 93-95 but do not intermix the fork legs from j-l models. The 91-92 J suspension uses 43mm stanchions the 93-95 uses 41mm. The R model uses 41mm with compression adjusters.

Aug 4, 2023 · I believe the zx7 series was discontinued due to race regulations changing to allow/require 1000cc class sportbikes to be raced. If you look into other manufacturer bikes in the late 90's to early 2000's, they had bigger motors and fuel injection (Yamaha R1, Honda 929 Fireblade, Suzuki gsxr1000 K1).

Oct 27, 2009 · The general consensus is that the modern 600 class bikes are to much for a new rider so what about a 95 ZX7? For a brand new rider without any experience, it's probably a bad choice. 7's are heavy, quick steering and uncomfortable, that's a bad combination for an newbie.
