2020年9月2日 · The LT1 engine in displacements of 265 and 350 cubic inches was employed in a number of General Motors vehicles including the 1992-’96 Corvette, 1993-’97 Camaro and Firebird, 1994-’96 Chevy Caprice and Impala, Buick Roadmaster, and the beasty Cadillac Fleetwood luxury rides.

Chevrolet made the most use of the LT-1 in 1994. It was used in the: Camaro Z28, Corvette, Impala SS and Caprice Wagon. This engine produced 275 horsepower, hp, and 325 foot-pounds of torque in the Camaro; 300 hp and 340 foot-pounds of torque in the Corvette; and 260 horsepower and 330 foot-pounds of torque in the Impala SS and Caprice Wagon.

In order, the engine code identifies assembly plant, month, day, and engine suffix code. 10125327 is the casting number of all 92-97 LT1 and LT4 engines.

There are 3 different LT1 intake manifolds, 92-93 LT1, 94-97 LT1 and 96 LT4. The 94-97 LT1 and LT4 intake manifolds appear the same from above, all LT4 intakes are powder coated red from factory, but the difference is in the intake ports. LT4 intake ports are raised, and use different cylinder heads and intake port gaskets.

Though the LT1 has a different block and heads than the earlier small block Chevy V8, the engine mounts and bellhousing configuration were kept the same, allowing the newer Gen II engine to be swapped into older vehicles.
