2023年11月14日 · Ok guys iv got a 92 mr2 turbo with a gen4 swap. When I bought the car it was burning oil, later to be confirmed to be the valve seals degrading. It is now getting to the point where it needs to be fixed due to it misfiring under acceleration and poor idling.

They only weigh around 2600 lbs and have roughly a 40/60 weight distribution, so even with the 2.2L 5S-FE Camry engine they’re still pretty ballsy and a blast to drive. Mechanical parts are pretty common and cheap to come by, but body and MR2 specifics and rare and a pain in the ass to find thanks to low import numbers to the US.

2023年9月16日 · I have a 92 mr2 and needed to replace the control arms, but I ended up buying the 93 version since I was told they were a direct fit as well and still serviceable. The only thing I’m wondering is do I have to update the rest of my Suspension to a 93 version as well?
