2005年7月6日 · well i did my homework today. the stock oem replacement shock and spring is a whopping $860 from kawasaki. well i searched around noticed the kawi part number for the 89 rear shock was the same part number as the 91 so i went to a few bike dismantlers had them pull a shock compared them to my 89 shock and it was an exact match. so i called up race tech and they have a gold shock rebuild kit ...

The 91-92 are the same. 93-94 are the same. the difference between 91-92 and 93-94 is the ram air. this changes the carbs a little. it's enough that you don't want to run the 91-92 7R carbs on a ram air bike without heavy modifications to the air box.
