The General Electric GEnx ("General Electric Next-generation") is an advanced dual rotor, axial flow, high-bypass turbofan jet engine in production by GE Aerospace for the Boeing 747-8 and 787. The GEnx succeeded the CF6 in GE's product line.

2011年12月8日 · The 787, ZA006, aircraft powered by GE's GEnx-1B engines departed Boeing Field in Seattle at 11:02 a.m. on December 6 and set the distance record for its class (440,000-550,000 lbs.) with a 10,710 nautical mile (nmi) flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh, with credit for 10,337 nmi (19,144 km).
