The 74HC273; 74HCT273 is an octal positive-edge triggered D-type flip-flop. The device features clock (CP) and master reset (MR) inputs. The outputs Qn will assume the state of their corresponding Dn inputs that meet the set-up and hold time requirements on the LOW-to-HIGH clock (CP) transition.
The MC74HC273A/MC74HCT273A is identical in pinout to the LS273. The MC74HC273A inputs are compatible with Standard CMOS outputs; with pull−up resistors, the device is compatible with LSTTL outputs. The MC74HCT273A may be used as a level converter for interfacing TTL or NMOS outputs to high speed CMOS inputs.
The ’HC273 and ’HCT273 high speed octal D-Type flip-flops with a direct clear input are manufactured with silicon-gate CMOS technology. They possess the low power consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits. Information at the D input is transferred to the Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse.
