2016年6月2日 · On a '73, by looking at the 5th digit of the VIN, one can at least cancel out the possibility of the car being a GTO. For the posiblity of car being a GTO, the 5th digit will be: T is for 400/230 hp 400 4bbl, the base engine with the GTO option pkg for '73. Y denotes the optional 455 4bbl engine, basic same 455 4bbl as used in a '73 Grandville.

2017年9月26日 · I have 2 53 inch drive shafts for the the '73 GTO. One is a 2 inch and the other a 3 inch The th400 yoke is already on the 2 inch shaft from a Monte Carlo. Is it worth my while to switch it over to the 3 inch shaft? Running a 1970 Pontiac 350 4 barrel, mild cam, headers, probably around 290-300hp...

2013年2月26日 · Hey all Im running the 442 in my 73 GTO, the 400 ci with the quadrajet carb, I was looking at switiching to a edelbrock 4 barrel but my neighbor who is more intuned with older cars sais that the Quad is a way better carb. Any advise?

2012年4月30日 · No. The GTO was optional on the LeMans body so it will have a LeMans VIN. PHS documents are the only way to verify. This was true for the 64-65, 72-74 GTOs when the GTO was an option package.
