2023年11月12日 · 6mm arc ballistics look like it does really well in short barrels, but I've seen wierd gas tube lengths from some barrel manufacturers. 22 arc seems wierd to me. 22 arc came from 6mm arc from 6.5 Grendel from 6.5 ppc from 22 ppc from 220 Russian.

2024年11月19日 · I've shot 6mm ARC match barrels to 4500-5000 a few times now and pull them because I'm scared, not because they stopped shooting. I haven't shot out a 22 ARC barrel yet but I'd guess maybe a 20-30% hit in barrel life just going off of bore area.

2012年8月22日 · This is due to the performance overlap and differences that now exists between the various cartridges for each platform, and even between platforms. One example: an AR15 in 6mm ARC shooting the same 108 gr high BC bullet as an AR10 in 6mm Creedmoor or GT, where the same performance can be achieved with a short barrel AR10 vs a long barrel AR15.

2017年3月3日 · I realize this thread is a few years old but unless I missed someone I'm adding the only input on a 12.5" Lilja barrel in 6mm ARC from Six Sigma. I'd like to think I had the original 12.5" 6mm ARC idea, I bought the barrel early but didn't put it to use until this last year so second is good enough ..
