2014年8月2日 · Get the Jeep up on blocks or jack stands and make sure it is secure and safe. Remove the driveshafts. Remove transfer case and transmission shift levers. Remove speedo cable. Remove any ancillary items that may be in the way such as hoses/wiring. Exhaust may have to be removed/loosened. Remove clutch linkage.

2012年8月1日 · The only thing you may run into is clearance with the back of the skid plate. I don't know how far back a 2wd AX-15 goes as compared to a 4wd version, but because your driveshaft will be much longer and begin closer to the front of your Jeep, it may sit close to or interfere with the skid. Nothing a grinder can't fix though.

2009年9月12日 · Use Tecumseh Bentonite Grease available at local lawn tractor repair shops as a substitute. They use the stuff in hydrostatic lawnmower transaxles. It's about $15 a quart, but does a good job of lubricating while not leaking past the seals. Alternatively, Google "Jeep Knuckle Pudding" for homebrew remedies.
