215/65/15 in front..is it classic? Help please. - Team Camaro Tech
2004年12月5日 · I thought that the classic combo for camaros was a 215/65/15 up front and 235/60/15 out back...Is this true? I currently have 4 235/60/15 on my wifes 68 on corvette rally wheels with no rubbing issues. I just think they look a little too baloon like on the front (see pic in sig). Additionally I want to change the wheels to something more flashy.

2011年8月8日 · If you want to stay 215 up front, may want to try checking around on 215 65 15s. I run those on the front with 245 60 15 on the rear of my 69. If you check the diameters, the 65 is not much taller, but it is roughly the same as the 245 60 in rear. Looking at the Radial T/A sizing chart, the 235 60 15 is 26.1 inches, the 215 60 15 25.2 inches.

2001年6月14日 · Just in the last week, my '68 Camaro has started shaking a little during acceleration. The steering column also vibrates at speeds above 35 mph. To me it feels like the engine or transmission, but I haven't had the time to check it out much (busy with my college finals and exams).

2006年9月25日 · The P215/65/R15 was used on the 1982-1987 Z28 Camaro's with 15" wheels. It was the O.E. Size. Note I said Z28's, not IROC-Z's I know this because I had a 1984 Z28 with that size and I sold tires at one time back in the day. My 1988 IROC-Z had P 245/50/R16's on it.
