Reloading the new 6.8x51 Sig Fury .277 - AR15.COM
2024年4月2日 · I think necking up to 308 (and 8.6 BLK....) is a no-brainer and I'm surprised these are still available at this price considering once-fired LC pulldown M80 brass costs over $350/k (plus shipping!). Posted: 7/7/2024 5:43:07 PM EDT

Ar10 in .277 fury ????? > AR Variants - AR15.COM
2022年4月23日 · The 6.8x51mm cartridge sounds really neat, but personally I don’t really like the ‘M5’ it’s primarily chambered in. My only concern about 6.8x51 is parts wear and longevity (especially in a rifle that it wasn’t primarily developed for) since it’s producing around 80k PSI chamber pressure, IIRC.

7.62x39 or 6.8 spc pros and cons > AR Variants - AR15.COM
2009年5月25日 · With the 6.8 spc with a 110 gr accubond at 2800 fps the 6.8 has over 1000 fpe where the 7.62 has under 800. Believe me that is just bad advise. "Stick witht he7.62x39 unless you want to tinker" Its more like the other way around. Buy a stag 6.8 upper or build a 11 twist upper and buy some SSA 85 gr barnes bulelts and go shoot.
.308 vs 6.8 SPC? > AR Variants - AR15.COM
2011年6月26日 · 6.8 SPC can be built at 6# total with a light scope for reasonable $ and with a 16" barrel is a perfect carry rifle. A 6.8 is great for eastern deer and hogs, but several Elk and a black bear have been taken with one. My 90 YO dad used my 6.8 AR15 for a while and liked it so much he ordered a Mini 14 in 6.8. That is all he hunts with now.
