At 2.400 coal things like 22 Nosler, 6 x 6.8 SPC, & 6 Grendel should meet performance requirements. A 6ARC2 with 35 degree shoulders stretched forward + .100 @60k would be tits to 1000 and work well with 95 mono's - 110 A-tips.

2019年9月23日 · it wouldnt make a lot of sense to me to keep the 7.62x51 case size and oal. to large/heavy. something in between 5.56x45 and 7.62x51 say.. 6.8x48 would seem just right.. or just use 6.5 grendel.. or 6.8 spc.. or .270 or many of the already proven cartridges out there..the ultimate win woudl be to make something with much better ballistics while still fitting in the m4 …

I used a x-caliber barrel, 4140 steel, 20 in, 5R, 1:7 twist, with a high pressure bolt and bolt carrier but it is still limited to 65k psi. 2019年11月29日 · 90 yards sub sonic on this 8 point with the 190gn Hornady Sub-X. Went 40 yards and died. 12.5" Proof with a Sandman Ti. Also took a 10 point with a 16" DDM4V11 and 120gn Barnes last year from the same 90 yards. I happen to like 300Blk.
