2009年7月16日 · Upgraded stock turbo to legacy 2.5 turbo, sti pink injectors, bigger fuel pump, sti intercooler, and got it pro tuned and dyno’d at 341hp and 295 tq. For stock driveline and 5 speed keeping torque around 295 is very important to not blow trans. If makin 341 hp by spending only 1k on parts, 1k on tune.

2015年8月7日 · GT30 is a BB turbo, the GTX is a newer compressor wheel design. Dw65 wont push 500whp. Stock block and e85 CAN handle ~400whp (mine did for a long time).

Location: Wenatchee Wa. $20,000 Plus. Spend some time reading 500hp threads. I'm going to use an sti block, not my wrx 2 liter block.

2021年11月29日 · Trust me, if you're looking at 500whp you need to do the 257 with the 6sp. It's not practical or cost effective to build out the 5sp, and it will be slower than the 6sp anyways. Reply reply

2009年11月30日 · People have run the stock cast pistons to ~500whp on STis, I believe they are the same casting design between 2.5 and 2.0 aside from bore size, so with the STi rods, theoretically you should be able to push it to 400whp if you wanted, with a good tune.

2014年3月16日 · I'm at something like 330hp/385tq on the dyno, and there is no way forward now without a full turbo, motor and tranny build. So, my advice comes from my car & experience, and you'll obviously have to talk to a tuner about getting to 500 hp at the wheels.

2021年10月16日 · If the body and undercarriage is clean do a built block and forged internals IMO, make it like 500whp daily. You may need an sti trans tho. Car is clean otherwise. New trans around 70k. The WRX transmissions end up breaking once you get around 400hp, the STI ones are much sturdier and can handle the extra hp.

2020年4月23日 · There have been members here that have seen 500+whp on the older platform. Mainframe and Brfatal are examples. Both built 2.5L bottom ends. It's an insanely expensive endeavor. I think Brfatal freely admits that he dropped more than $50k on his Bugeye over the years. The car is long gone too. Total money suck.

2009年9月29日 · Running 700Hp on a stock transmission is definitely a bad idea. Sounds like you want a race car with regular car maintenance. They do not allow street racing talk on here. I am looking for a laid out blueprint for a 700-800 hp engine. I want an engine that is durable and can last me at least 100,000 miles before any major repair.
