[Serious] Educators of Reddit, what does a "5.0" GPA even mean?
My high school actually made it possible to get higher than a 5.0. The structure went as such in regards to a weighted GPA: Standard: 4.0 if you make an A Honors: 5.0 if you made an A. AP: 6.0 if you made an A. And it absolutely did give an unfair advantage to a transfer student who took more AP classes than our school actually offered.
Is it true that there is a 5.0 GPA? If so what is the ... - Reddit
2023年12月7日 · Weighted GPA. The standard in most places is that an A is 4.0 for a regular class, 4.5 for an honors/advanced class, and 5.0 for an AP/College level class (basically add 0.5 to the honors grade or 1.0 to AP grade). 4.0 is the max for unweighted GPA however where an A is always a 4.0. Colleges usually ask both unweighted and weighted GPA.

2021年4月30日 · In college I had a 1.3 GPA coming out of my freshman year. It sucks but hard work got me to a 3.0 (which I had to get all A’s to do just to average it out) by the time I graduated. I totally get the not trying in school thing.

Is it possible to get a GPA of above 5.0 : r/highschool - Reddit
2018年2月2日 · A 5.0 GPA means every single class is an AP-- but even for the brightest students this isn't possible since some classes (like gym) can't be taken as an AP. Taking classes like driver's ed actually lowered my GPA since I could earn a maximum of 4 points, which was still less than the 5 and 4.5 I was earning in other classes. If you're only ...

My first semester I had a 1.690 GPA, the second was a 0.0gpa. My cumulative gpa is a 1.175. I was accepted into my university into the 5 year Mechanical engineering B.E/Masters program. Yes I was kicked out of the program. Edit: Going to sleep. Ill answer everything else after work.
Does anyone know how to convert from CGPA to GPA? : …
2023年8月25日 · A CGPA and a GPA are the same, just CGPA is more specific as a cumulative GPA. We use a 10 point system, so each of the grades has a value from 0 to 10 associated to it. That value is then multiplied by the number of credits its worth (normally 3), then all of those are added up and divided by the total number of credits.
USYD Medicine/Dentistry GPA Cutoff 5.0: Question : r/GAMSAT

Those of you who got into a graduate program with a low GPA.
Honestly, I find it kinda unfair that only 14-15 is considered a 3.0 GPA. And as someone who’s about to graduate from KU Leuven with similar, or maybe lower GPA (got 9 for my thesis so I need about 11-12 for my next attempt to get the cum laude plus I have 2 other bad grades😅) from Anthropology (although in my case it’s social) and wants ...
Hey, /r/college—what can we agree is a solid GPA? : r/college
2017年12月20日 · 3.0 is low in my opinion, it sounds average and okay but pretty trash and light years away from the 4.0 gpa. 3.5 is right in the middle and consider it solid. If you have a 3.0 or lower gpa don’t get mad at me when you fumbled 😂
