2025年2月11日 · Chasing rasterization gains has kind of hit a ceiling and while they'll get some efficiency improvements by seemingly be on 3nm, they're not saving so much space and power that they can drastically out perform the PS5 Pro in raw GPU compute, the CPU will obviously benefit from a multi generational upgrade.

2025年2月11日 · My expectation is that it'll be similar in design to that chip, but shrunk down to 3nm, maybe 2nm depending on whenever this thing comes out. GPU clocks will be reduced to PS5 levels and 8 cpu cores will be removed. Extra die space will be used for what ever AI RT coprocessors Sony and AMD have cooking for next gen.
