All 3 games have some god-awful characters and writing, which defeats the purpose of Fire Emblem's premise as far as I'm concerned and make it a serious chore to get through. Even worse, Birthright and Revelation have some very gimmicky and poorly designed maps on top of that (snow shoveling, really?), that get grating quickly.

If you like SMT games the 3ds has a crap ton. Devil Survivor 1 & 2(DS remaster), Soul Hackers(ps one port), SMT 4 and SMT4 Apcolypse, Strange Journey(DS remaster) and Persona Q There is also Dragon Quest VII and VIII, I havent played those.

2021年4月28日 · Pokemon Alpha sapphire/omega ruby are good if you like the pokemon games, and Rune factory is another great game on DS. I recommend RF 4 out of the lot. Although not turn based, Kingdom Hearts games are pretty good. The ones on DS are Recoded, 358/2 Days and on 3DS there is dream drop distance.

It doesn't really do the game justice. It's a wide scale RPG that has well blended art styles and perspectives in a variety of environments. The demo gives you a taste of what's to offer, but there is so much more if you like what you saw in the demo. It's the 3DS successor to …

2017年5月20日 · The Bravely games not only let you set difficulty, encounter rate, and even rewards gain (IIRC) willy-nilly, but can be played nigh entirely with the left side of the 3DS. There's a pleasing fluidity to flying through menus with naught but the D-pad.

2021年4月15日 · My favourites are Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology, Tales of the Abyss and Monster Hunter Stories on the JRPG side of things, Monster hunter 4U on the action RPG side. There's also the DS port of Chrono Trigger, which is probably the best version of what is widely considered one of the best JRPGs ever made

2014年1月2日 · But if you meant what the difference is between a Tactics RPG and a Strategy RPG, then as far as I've seen in general TRPG and SRPG are not concrete distinctions - however, the visuals seem to play some part in it. An SRPG tends to look like Fire Emblem, like a grid-based 2D strategy game but with RPG elements like levelling and equipment.

I used to shit when people called Zelda an RPG back in the 80's/90's because it isn't. Now people will call anything with more than 20 hours of gameplay and big swords an RPG. It's gotten ridiculous. If MH is an RPG, it's also a puzzler because you need to think when you fight and build things from different parts after.
