Console/Xbox Series X/S players, some tips to enjoy 30 fps
2023年7月2日 · I beat Jedi Survivor with 30 fps. IMHO its Resolution Mode is far better than the performance mode. Super crisp looking with the beautiful ray tracing. I even played 250 hours or so Forza Horizon 5 with 30 fps before I realize I forgot to set it to 60 fps. I know lots of ppl hate 30 fps. But frame rates will not stop me from playing great games.
how is 30 fps "bad"? : r/gaming - Reddit
2019年11月30日 · A stable 30 fps isn't really a big problem, of course I would trade 60 fps becoming the stable for any game on consoles any day but I'd say it's playable, still 30 fps is s big problem for some people, it's the perfect fps for motion sickness
(release) TotK Dynamic FPS v1.5.4 (support for v1.2.0 game
DynamicFPS 1.5.4 doesn't work at all - it doesn't give me 60 FPS (it's 30 FPS locked instead) and I did everything according to the instructions. I really tried to figure this out, but no dice. 1.5.3 + 60fps Static still works, so I'm gonna stay on that version for now.
What are some games locked at 30 FPS that still feel 'next gen'?
2023年8月14日 · Locked 30 fps is inexcusable in 2023 with all the VRR and dynamic resolution tech available now. 30 fps is a travesty for a AAA flagship game on the flagship console. One thing I can guarantee though. This will be the last major title to EVER release with no options other than locked 30fps.
How do people still believe that 30fps is perfectly acceptable
30 fps is playable, and these games weren't going on a hybrid console that costs $300 and running any better than they did. The fact that they got a game like TotK to run as well as it does on what is basically a 7-8 year old tablet under the hood is insane. I would take a 30 fps game like TotK over a 60 fps watered down experience any day of ...
After seeing side by side comparisons of 30 fps vs 60 fps in
Nope there is nothing special to it. 24 fps in movies and 30 fps in games are just cost cutting measures. Considering how long it can take to render a single frame in a big budget movie adding more fps would increase it's production cost by a lot. Same with video games. Going from 30 to 60 fps requires a lot more performance from the cpu and gpu.
Problem: FPS Capped / Locked at 30 FPS at 1920x1080 resolution
2025年1月22日 · I found a possible fix, if i launch the GeforceNOW with dedicated graphics ( gtx 860M ) , the fps is unlocked , but in order to play games i need to activate ultra streaming mode. The reason i open the GeforceNOW app with integrated graphics ( intel ) , is that i can OPEN and PLAY games without ultra streaming mode.
How to properly set 30FPS in PC games : r/pcgaming - Reddit
But a solid 30 FPS imo is better than a wobbly 40, because it helps with removing any sort of hitching due to frame timing, where a frame could be done in 20ms and then 40ms; thankfully game engines can do a good and stable 33-33, plus it's less noticeable if the game hitches since the jump is much smaller (7ms vs 20).
Why shoot in 30fps or 24fps : r/videography - Reddit
As the other poster pointed out, motion blur is determined by shutter speed, not FPS (I often associate the 2 because I never stray from the shutter speed/fps rule described in the other post, but yes they are different). What is relevant to what we are discussing, though, is that the amount of motion blur is determined when the footage is shot.
Is there a way to cap the framerate to 30 on PC? : r/Eldenring
2022年2月25日 · Also in the game settings turn the auto-render option OFF and make sure the grass is set to medium, motion blur to medium, everything else to high. Motion blur can help 30 fps look and feel smoother. Hope this helps, any questions lemme know. I would really try 30 fps first tho before trying 45 using these settings
