2010年10月18日 · Running a narrower tire up front on like a 7" wheel, and a wider tire in the rear on a 10" wheel. Kind of a Pro-Street look. Or possibly running wider rubber on 10's all the way around. I really like the idea of a 2wd Jeep strictly because of the practicality reasons. But I just don't know if I can bring myself to build a 2wd CJ.

2023年4月17日 · What year CJ5? It makes a difference as to how long your drivetrain can be without stretching the wheelbase. With a 4.3, the original D18 would be fine for a transfercase. Those make for better driveshaft angles and I like wheeling them as everything is in the same alignment. Make picking lines in the rock a lot easier.

2022年8月11日 · Apologies if I should have found this in 'Search' (maybe with good reason) but I am thinking about swapping in a 4.3V6 (78,000 miles) from a 1994 2wd Chevy pickup into my 2wd CJ5. My jeep has an original AMC20 with 3.73 posi. CJ currently has no motor or transmission. Haven't found out about moving the computer over, etc.
