2K or 4K Monitor. Is 27" to small for 4K - [H]ard|Forum
2005年2月26日 · I bought it for gaming but my 2080 Ti is a 3rd month in repair (gigabyte) and I look at the fuzzy display without benefiting from the gaming at 165 Hz g-sync. I wish I bought 32" 4k 165Hz g-sync instead. The 165 Hz is so cool even in windows. Even 27" 1440p at 100% looks grainy next to 27" 4k 200%. I can look at 4k wallpapers all day long.

2020年9月13日 · For office work either of them is fine and 4k at 32" is sharp enough. 27" while nice at 4k has limited workspace compared to 32". If gaming is a priority I actually would get the IPS, VA screens tend to smear badly in dark scenes (I have the LG UD3259-B and is super smeary even visible while browsing the web).

2016年10月2日 · Now whenever I set the resolution from anywhere - windows or nVidia - even from 4k - I get the desktop and signal resolution matching at 2560x1440. Setting the 12 bit colour makes it stick - 4k 12 bit 60hz doesn't fit through HDMI 2.0, so it's just a way to ensure that Windows chooses to lower the signal resolution.

Are 4k 60Hz panels that can do 1440p @ 120/144Hz a thing?
2016年6月16日 · Not explicitly, but combining the point you made with OP's question would lead to the conclusion that a monitor capable of 4k @ 60hz and 2k @ 120hz would require a monitor that can do 4k @ 120hz (the monitor would then be capable of doing 4k @ 60hz by lowering refresh rate, and 2k @ 120hz by lowering resolution).
What's the point of 4k if you scale up the size of things?
. 4k is fine with 100-125% scaling at 28" and no scaling (100%) at 32", from experience and owning a 32" ips sst 60hz 4k monitor a couple of months now, and having used a 24" one since May 2014. I only had to shell out $675 for my 32" Acer B326HK, and have seen ones as cheaply as $750-850 since, perfectly reasonable for the tech.

2010年8月29日 · Using 0% smoothness I see no blurred texture/graphics and pratically no aliasing since 4K on a 24inch display is a huge resolution. Textures quality improves by a wow margin. Everything under DSR 4x produces worse quality than native resolution or no visibile improvement. Using DSR 2x for example produces an extremely choppy/aliased text. Why this?
