2015年1月13日 · Every car in it's class, aside from the Vette, was discontinued due to poor sales. The Vette had a much longer heritage here in the states and the average consumer couldn't wrap their heads around a 6 cylinder outperforming a V8 and wouldn't spend the money... as you can see, that mentality still exists today.

Can you swap the 2JZ engine in a front wheel drive car?
2020年3月20日 · You want to compare front track width (friends car against all cars that came with the to-be-swapped engines), engine dimensions including weight, front suspension type, and front/rear steer (rear steer in this context being steering rack behind the front knuckle vs in front), at least as a starting point.
2JZ, 1UZ, or 3UZ? : r/whatcarshouldIbuy - Reddit
2016年9月20日 · Keep in mind, that's the 2JZ-GE, which is the NA version of that motor, not the 2JZ-GTE which is the turbocharged version from the Mk IV Supra. Yes you can build it up, but it's going to cost some money. The only reason I wouldn't go with one of the V8 cars is that if a manual trans was offered, it will only be with the six cylinder.

There are tons of guys who know how to get every bit of power out of it.

2021年11月9日 · While I think you are right that the 3.0 Racing I6 is a 2JZ, the numbers don't match the 2JZ Stock car. I suspect it might be a 2JZ from a Formula Drift car not presently in the game, but I don't know. Additionally, the 8.9 I'm pretty sure is a Chevrolet 540 V8 which is used in the Bone Shaker monster truck. Cummins L-series motors are straight ...

2023年1月11日 · This is a tuning setup that should appeal to NASCAR purists. I've built the 2010 Forsberg Racing Toyota Gumout 2JZ Camry to as close to 2021 and up NASCAR 6 gear rear end specs and realistic on track performance via build and ratio tuning for a max top speed of around 205mph and what I think is close to actual on track handling performance.

2023年6月8日 · You'd have to convert the car to RWD to make it happen if it even fit and at that point with how much cutting and welding and custom work to make that happen you'd be spending more than a newer nicer car. If you really want a practical 2JZ car maybe look and see if you can find a decent deal on an IS300 or SC300 in your area.
