2024年6月12日 · Looking at purchasing an Avalon but I heard early versions of the 2GR-FE had many potential issues: idler pulleys, oil cooler lines, etc. When did all these problems get resolved? Just wondering how new of an Avalon I should consider to avoid headaches.

With the Torque App on my phone, I monitored the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) and the 14.4 run the IAT was 87F and the other runs the IAT was 95F.

2012年5月25日 · 08-10: They use the old 3.3L 3MZ-FE v6 from the gen 1 highlander, its intake is totally different from ours, so that portion of the install will be different. They can look at the gen 1 HL 3.3L spark plug sticky on how to remove the intake to get to the back plugs. 11+: They use a variant of the 3.5L 2GR-FE (called the 2GR-FXE) V6.

2016年2月15日 · My own interest lies in the 2GR-FE swapped MR2, and I am looking for options for an affordable Y-pipe like the one from MKC. The MKC is a fantastic value. Anyone who can use it as a direct fit should be jumping on it. Unfortunately, as Gouky pointed out, it is not a direct fit for the MR2 with manual trans (E153) and FMW headers.
