Some cars will have their battery trays completely destroyed by rust, but if you see rust here, take a much closer look at the rest of the car.

2015年11月15日 · I'll probably end up picking up a set of floors and rails. I have rust under the drip rail behind the lead line, where the drip rail is tacked on above the quarter window. I'll attach pictures soon. It is a numbers matching car. I'll likely restore this car back to stock and maybe pick up a 280 to "modify" further down the line.

2013年1月18日 · Those guys need to restore a 240Z. Never seen that Wheeler Dealers show, will have to look out for it next time it's on. I had to have a rear valance made, but it turns out the '74 260z has different bumper mounting points to the 240z so ended up modifying to make it work (so much for the easy option).

2007年1月12日 · Common rust areas on the 240z... lets see... anything metal is a common rust area on the 240z - 280zx. Major spots... All joints, quarters, around the windows, handles, trim pieces, floor boards, frame rails, battery tray, etc... If you are going to look at a car, just give it a full inspection. Look over the whole car & then you will know.
