2004年1月29日 · Most headers will improve torque numbers. Some big tube and 4-in-1 headers will decrease torque numbers and provide high RPM increase in peak HP. For our 22s and general use, we definitely want as much torque as we can get. A good Tri-Y header and opened exhaust on a stock 22R/RE will get you about 10 percent more torque and HP.

2006年11月29日 · On both my stock 22RE and my stock 22R, the DT header produced very noticeable increase in throttle response - especially at freeway speeds. Both were 2" pipe, no cat, and OEM style Cherry Bomb Turbo mufflers.

2009年2月18日 · i have the lce long tube on my 84 22r and i could tell a huge difference in the power perfarmance and overall sound of my truck! the install with the new studs and the air injection kit was very easy and i got it all in in about an hour! the lce header matched with 2.5" highflow cat and magnaflow performace muffler was well worth the price!

2010年4月8日 · yeah it looks like most of the other 22r headers on the market. my buddies are all running the standard cheap pacesetter/knock off headers. IMO keep stock until yours cracks then get something cheap. 1 extra squirrel power isnt worth it to me. but to each there own.

2010年1月28日 · I put a 22r header on my 22re and have noticed a whirring noise almost like a vw bugs whistler exhaust, I used a 22r sized gasket and I'm wondering if the small ports on the 22r header are making the noise due to the re's pear shaped ports. Has anyone had a problem running these? I know its probably causing more back pressure there,

2017年10月5日 · 100% agree on going to an RZ platform...which is why I refuse to go from 22R to E. Waiting to have cash to go 3RZ or possibly 2RZ....i wouldnt mind FI but dont want that cash in a wheeler...rather have a FI RZ in a street rig. Plus it makes way more sense to just go v6/v8 of your choice then FI 4 cylinder in a full bodied basic rig.
