If there was a 2026 f1 mod it would be very derivative of the 2022 regulations and probably not drive correctly at all. Not even the teams have finished their designs for 2026. The powertrain would be too complicated to make a good mod without a seasons worth of “data”, and same with the aerodynamic behaviors of the car.

2022年8月17日 · The easiest way to picture it is by following F1's lead and thinking of everything in "megajoules". 2026 fuel flow is 3000MJ/hr. Let's say the average F1 lap is 90 seconds long. That gives us 75MJ/lap in fuel. The 530hp ICE figure they gave us results in 47.4% thermal efficiency, and with 65% of the lap at full throttle, we get 23.1MJ from the ICE.

2023年11月15日 · Unfortunately it looks like the car lengths are only going to be reduced by 200mm to 5.4 meters instead of 5.6. Compared to the 4.5m of the v10 era. The last time cars were under 5 meters was 2013 (4.8m) so it’s probably the PU making cars so long and the removal of MHU-H that’s allowing wheelbase to be slightly reduced.

True n2 engine could be 100k now it's a museum piece, maybe a few hiding in Japan some where. Days of true na are done it's sad and honestly modern engines will never ever hold a cap to the sounds of a 80s/90s na's or even turbo JDM stuff.
