It seems that with a $20 (or less) bluetooth OBD-II adapter and an Android phone, you can easily check the transmission fluid temperature using the Torque Pro app!

I have tried to get my Emission Test in Colo. twice and each time I got two Monitors "NOT READY". They are/were EVAPORATIVE and OXYGEN SENSOR. I had previously had an issue with Check engine light that was related to the Gas Cap.
