The clutches were grabby when cold, improved somewhat when hot, but were obviously the weakest component on the bike.

He bought it with low hours for $1600 2-3 yrs ago and after selling the spare parts he got with it, it cost him $400-$500. Overall, awesome purchase. Parts are a little hard to come by, more so in the looks department.

2011年4月20日 · Last January, I purchased a 2000 RM250, and have been gradually getting it into shape. I had the cylinder replated by Powerseal, used an OEM piston & rings, and all OEM gaskets for my top end rebuild. The bike develops great power on the top end, but it four strokes or spludders right off idle. Any constant cruise type throttle has this condition.

2020年2月28日 · here is the problem with having a 2000 RM250 when it comes to matching up what wheel components fit it. rear axle, spacer for example are different between the (T, V,W X) models then there is the (Y) model. as in people telling you to look at Partzilla.com, that's where you will see where I am coming from.
