The Papua New Guinea 2 Kina Banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea in 1975. The obverse of this green banknote features the coat of arms of Papua New Guinea depicting a bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum and a ceremonial spear. The reverse depicts a Mount Hagan axe and a Kula armband from Milne Bay Province.
