2012年1月23日 · Beyond that it hits a wall with modification, though, as there's much less aftermarket and it's much more complicated to go standalone or beef up the fuel system vs the non-vvti 1JZ-GTE. If you'd truly be happy with ~325-340whp forever, the VVTi is great, but beyond that it's all about the earlier ones.

So far ive picked up a hks intake, tomei expreme manifold, sard fuel rail, denso 550cc high imp. injectors, and a Apexi Power-FC. From what ive been reading the Power-FC can control the vvti solenoid and is a standalone.

2005年4月30日 · Kinda like the real power ratings on the 2jzget vvti aristo. Used parts from japan are easier to find for the non vvti engines though. the vvti models also run 9:1 compression compared to the 8.5:1 of the non vvti, so that may factor into your decision also.

The reason for this is because the 2JZ-GTE block is an 1/2" taller, so that means the 1JZ-GTE head will sit a 1/2" higher, meaning the turbo setup will sit 1/2" higher as well.
