If you'd truly be happy with ~325-340whp forever, the VVTi is great, but beyond that it's all about the earlier ones.

2012年2月18日 · The 1JZ-GTE (90-93) comes with Manual for $1900. It has more torgue as well. The 1JZ-GTE VVTI (96-00) comes with Automatic for $1000. I've been thinking about an sc300 1JZ swap. ( I know it's a supra forum but I think it kind of belongs here too because the engine I wanna swap) I don't want to reach the sky with it.

2007年8月8日 · I am actually in the process of tuning a 1jz vvti. I am hoping to achieve close to 350 rwhp with the stock turbo. So far ive picked up a hks intake, tomei expreme manifold, sard fuel rail, denso 550cc high imp. injectors, and a Apexi Power-FC. From what ive been reading the Power-FC can control the vvti solenoid and is a standalone.

2017年10月26日 · The 1JZGTE VVTI is a top feed fuel rail from stock, so aftermarket injectors and most 2JZ top feed injectors will drop in with minimum issue. Plug'n'Play pins are available as well if needed. As others stated above already, please provide some further information on the car, what HP goal you have in mind, etc.

2005年4月30日 · Kinda like the real power ratings on the 2jzget vvti aristo. Used parts from japan are easier to find for the non vvti engines though. the vvti models also run 9:1 compression compared to the 8.5:1 of the non vvti, so that may factor into your decision also.

2013年6月26日 · Since a setup that would bolt onto a fully stock 1JZ-GTE takes into consideration the block is a 1JZ-GTE block, you cannot assume that it would fit on a 2JZ-GTE block. The reason for this is because the 2JZ-GTE block is an 1/2" taller, so that means the 1JZ-GTE head will sit a 1/2" higher, meaning the turbo setup will sit 1/2" higher as well.

2018年4月8日 · -Driftmotion makes an AFPR kit for the 1jz, you will remove the stock if you replace it with aftermarket-W/B o2 fluctuating at idle could be a hundred things, start with the easy stuff first. If you can borrow a stock 02 from someone, that's a good troubleshooting step. It could be the MAF reading incorrectly (I think 1jz-vvti is maf).

2022年3月2日 · That sounds like you had a Non-VVTi 1JZ. The OP has a VVTi 1JZ. The VVTi and the specific camshaft selection makes a big difference here. The Tomei Poncam drop in 260's would be a lovely improvement to your powerband since you're running a significantly larger turbo than stock. 2007年6月13日 · I know the non-vvti 1jzgte came with MAP sensors. However the vvti versions came with AFMs/MAFS. I want to know if there are interchangable mafs/afms with the vvti version of the 1jzgte, as well as part numbers.
