2010年4月8日 · I think with the money spent you could make more power using a 1JZ. It takes close to twenty grand in order to make 518 horses on an M3 using the HPF kit. It would probably take 6 grand at most in order to make the same amount of power with a 1JZ. The E46 isn't going to be hindered by the 1JZ, in fact, it may be the other way around.

2016年6月20日 · The 1JZ cylinder head was developed by Yamaha and flows very very well. They're lovely engines. I swapped a 1JZ into a 1988 Supra a little over 10 years ago and I miss the engine very much. I have a soft spot for the 1JZ, which is more rev-happy and sounds better than the 2JZ, IMO.
