Coach's Corner is a commentary and analysis segment that aired from 1982 to 2019 during the first intermission of the Hockey Night in Canada (HNIC) television broadcast of National Hockey League (NHL) games. It featured Don Cherry, and was co-hosted by Dave Hodge from 1982 until 1986, and by Ron MacLean from 1986 to 2019.

During the 1979–80 and 1980–81 seasons, four more Canadian teams (the Edmonton Oilers, Quebec Nordiques, Winnipeg Jets, and Calgary Flames) joined the NHL. The Oilers and Flames were featured frequently, since the teams were playoff contenders during the 1980s.

Prior to the 2014–15 season, Hockey Night in Canada was split regionally on various CBC stations. As of the 2024–25 season, it is now split with CBC, Citytv, and selected Sportsnet channels. Before Sportsnet acquired national NHL broadcast rights, CBC used to have fixed broadcast teams.

2008年8月8日 · There was a made for tv old timers in the 80's I believe it was all original 6 teams. What was it called? I remember a game where the announcers were shocked at the shape of Derek Sanderson. I believe it was broadcast on ctv and it's affiliates. I remember that series.
