Best place to buy these slings is Amazon. They cost around 14 dollars on Amazon. World War Supply sells the same sling for 28 dollars.

This completes the basic installation of the M1907 sling on the M1 Garand. The same instructions apply to the M1903 Springfield. The M1907 sling can be loosened and tightened (dressed) on the rifle without unhooking the sling.

2022年10月19日 · There are several methods for setting up the M1907. We will only cover one method, and I am not sure if it has an official name, but it works well. The sling has three main parts: a long strap, a short strap, and a pair of “keepers.” Step 1: Lay out the sling parts as shown. Both keepers are located in the middle of the long strap.

To mount the sling on the rifle, put the end of the front loop through the front sling swivel, from the front to the back, and hook the frog into your sitting rapid position holes (I use #9). The frog will be on the rifle side of the sling.
