May 20, 2003 · The exposed part of the wire looks fine, so i am assuming that it is a problem hidden between the switch and the bulb. Probably in one of the harnesses. By any chance is there a fuse or a fusible link in that line somewhere? And if I have to, could I just run a new wire to the bulb to pass inspection? It only needs to work for 10 minutes. Thanks

Mar 25, 2004 · my r/side turn signal / park light is acting up.it will flash when the r/side turn signal is on but the park light will not work.i checked the mounting screws thinking bad ground and cleaned them up "nothing". i also checked the bulb and the filaments look good .i even took a scotch brite pad...

Dec 27, 2005 · The difference in a 153 and a 168 starter is the opening right? the 153 is straight and the other is like an L ...can use just swap the nose out? if so where do you get it. or are those mini starters worth the money?

May 5, 2024 · I cleaned off the metal contacts where the sockets plug into the tail light housings so that the grounds weren’t dirty and the left side started working properly, the right side bulb had a damaged filament so I replaced both bulbs with new 1157s. I now have all the lights on the car working as they should. Seems like it’s always a ground issue.

May 1, 2003 · Looks like 6 wires to one bulb including the ground. 2 of the wires come from that plug and go to the other bulb. So the other bulb should have 4 including the ground wires. One of the ground wires is the ground for the park lamp. We need to know what model for the correct diagram. [This message has been edited by 80rscam (edited May 03, 2003).]
