2021年10月17日 · The fun of 13J is that you get to play with a lot of different systems. There is a lot of fascinating tech being developed with the potential to change how field artillery operates. When I first joined up, anti-armor suicide loiter drones were an expensive pipe dream in the form of BAT rounds. Now they’re increasingly becoming a reality.

Very split on either 13F or 13J : r/nationalguard - Reddit
2018年10月10日 · But 13J is the one with the 20K bonus, and from what I hear your MOS barely matters once you go to drill so I’m just debating on whether I should choose the job I’m more motivated for or the one that I won’t like as much for the 20K bonus, but it won’t matter anyway once I’m out of AIT.
Help me pick a MOS (13F, 13B, 13J, or 12B) : r/nationalguard - Reddit
13J - They tend be nerdy and super skinny for whatever reason. Honestly on active duty they all look the same, scrawny, nerdy and usually with glasses. 13B - dumbos Some of the coolest shit I done as a CBRN guy was with the 12Bravos tho. Just training but its the first time I felt like my useless mos actually played a role.
Anyone know what 13j Fire Control Specialist is like? : r/army
Hey so you’re basically the nerds of the artillery world. Fire direction control. You help calculate MET data and what not to help the rounds land where they’re supposed to. That’s a poor explanation, but I’m not a 13J so I wouldn’t really know. …

2017年3月28日 · Actually I just looked it up on FMSWeb, they are actually coded to specific MOS's. So yes Drill Sergeant is MOS immaterial but it's not coded that way. Anything outside of nominative positions won't be MOS immaterial since just due to the way requisitions for the enlisted side go. There's no 01A or 02A equivalent for enlisted.

2023年5月1日 · On a serious note, it’s a relatively small MOS. When I went through AIT, several of the instructors had gone through AIT with each other way back in the day. You’ll be putting up antennas a lot, working with charts and fancy gizmos that are much older than you, and dealing with a computer that would probably work better after a direct hit ...
Can anyone elaborate on 13J? (Fire Control Specialists)
2018年10月8日 · Look up 13D and 13P. They combined both of those mos’s to make 13J. 13J in a nutshell is you receive the call for fire from the 13Fs(myself) and you do all the math to tell the 13B how to shoot the guns at that target.
Reclassing to 13f from 13J any advice. : r/army - Reddit
2022年6月5日 · Long story short I didn’t really do much research before joining the army and my recruiter sold 13J as doing what the 13Fs do.Well wasn’t long after ait did I realize that was not the case.I won’t lie I was bitter but I knew I was going to an airborne unit so i figured I would at least do something’s.Well after spending 2 1/2 years here …
