Just wondering what's better, a higher LLC with a more aggressive voltage offset, or the lowest level of LLC with less of a voltage offset? 2022年1月14日 · Nice pick on i7 - 11700K. It is power hungry if you use this CPU for multi-threaded tasks as the K chips have the power unlocked for performance! But if you leave power limits on and just use the chip more for single core tasks, the chip should turbo up high and perform relatively well and be easy to cool.

2022年1月23日 · Nope, definitely a bad choice. 12600k is also 250$ on micro center and it significantly outperforms 11700k in single thread and multi thread workload, literally anything. Also z490 for 200$ brand new is another bad buy. were getting to the point where b660 boards are reaching the sub 150$ area.

2021年3月16日 · I just upgraded from I7 6700T and 2133 mhz ram. Now I bought an I7 11700k and Trident Z Royal 4000 mhz cl18 with a z590 board and a 360 aio cooler. The cpu run at 5ghz no problem, 5.2 crashed after a load. I did a quick testing (cpu 5ghz) and with xmp at 4000 mhz. When I put gear 1, it w'ont boot. At gear 2, it boot.

11700k won't bottleneck a 4070, it's good up to a 3080 or so level of performance, so right at the edge depending on the game. 11th Gen was bad because it's was a huge die on 14nm and ate tons of power, it's similar to Ryzen 5000 series in performance core for core. They were just stupid for their price and power consumption.
