Why do pros use 500 hz over 1000 hz? : r/MouseReview - Reddit
2021年10月24日 · As you can see from the individual swipe data, this is because the instantaneous polling rate would tend to hit 1000 Hz, bobble down to 500 Hz, then hit 1000 Hz again and stay steady afterwards. This is what I believe gives 1000 Hz what I had previously that was the more 'raw' feel in twitch aiming, as I thought it was simply the less-averaged ...

Does mouse polling rate matter much? : r/MouseReview - Reddit
If you really wanted to test it you would have to use mouse tester on your system to see if 1000 or 500 hz is more consistent. Why some pros used or still used 500 hz was because especially back in the day 500hz would poll at a consistent interval while 1000hz would poll at more of a variance interval on certain systems and monitors.

(G7/ G7 SE) Loss of 1000Hz option on Xbox - Reddit
2024年4月18日 · On PC everything is self explanatory, 1000Hz mode means 1000 polls per second. Windows has no cap on input polling rate. Better accuracy, less input delay. However on Xbox it's a different story. Xbox has a polling rate cap due to software in the Xbox OS called DLI (Dynamic latency Input) and the cap is 125Hz.
Does jumping from 1000hz to 8000hz have a big difference?
the short answer is no. the long answer is that it depends. there is a somewhat noticeable difference going from 1khz to 8khz if you have a monitor of at least 240hz refresh rate, but EVEN then, the differences are minute and you should always consider other much more important factors of a mouse such as shape, weight and price.
DualSense overclocking (over 1000hz) proven useless? : …
2023年6月4日 · All you have to do is select the polling rate you want. So if you are on 8000 and want to switch back to 1000 (on a PS5 controller), select 1000. Default will probably work on a DualSense, as I think that is what the default is. If you are on a PS4 DualShock, select 1000. If you select Default with a DualShock, it will reduce the polling rate ...

For Anyone who has a 4khz or 8khz mouse, is it a noticeable
The latter is most definitely true of 4000 Hz polling with the Hati-S Plus 4K, so the matter shifts towards whether said advantage is meaningful and thus noticeable one way or another. That said, playing on a 165 Hz monitor at typically 200 FPS or more, I indeed struggled to notice a difference in terms of latency compared to 1000 Hz.
