Is 100 FPS excessive? - MMO-Champion
2012年9月22日 · I am posting here asking a general question about FPS. As of right now I'm running my old computer and waiting on my new parts to come in for my new PC and I'm pretty excited to say the least! I don't need the fastest most beefiest computer on the market- all I do is play around on wow occasionally, and browse the net and may check rift out again once I build this newer computer that handles ...

High end PC - low fps? - MMO-Champion
2022年11月19日 · Max Foreground FPS: CAPPED TO 140 (4 less than 144 Hz) Enabling these settings removed all screen tear and low fps issues. Based on my research, NVIDIA V-Sync works better in conjunction with G-Sync than WoWs in-game V-Sync feature. I had the best results with this setup AFTER updating bios, chipset, and graphics drivers so YMMV.
WoW fps limit? - MMO-Champion
2011年7月10日 · Sure, you can turn off V-Sync and it will process more FPS but you won't actually see them. So it's effectively a waste. Movies are generally shot in 24 FPS and that's roughly the minimum FPS we need to see a "fluent" picture. That doesn't mean however that we humans don't notice the difference between 30 and 60 FPS.
WoW capped at 120 FPS? - MMO-Champion
2015年3月20日 · As adamzz also stated, it essentially locks a portion of your FPS to your refresh rate to reduce screen tearing. if you set the cap above 144hz (say 200fps) it allows you to maintain FPS high enough to render at 144hz+. Thus, with a high end rig - keeping Vertical Sync disabled will actually improve performance and allow smoother gameplay
Sudden extreme frame rate drops (from 100 FPS to 0.05 FPS)
2019年5月6日 · Hi! In the last few months, I have been having sudden drops in frame rate, from 100 to 8-0.05 FPS. I'm not sure what's causing it but I'm thinking it might be my new graphics card since I had to buy a new one a few months ago and that's the only major change. First, here are the specs, it's an old computer (4 years, maybe more): CPU: Intel Core i5 3330, 3.00GHz Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER ...
WoW runs with low FPS - mmo-champion.com
2024年10月29日 · Out in the world I can even get to 100 but can dip to 40 flying/racing. Sometimes even lower. And if it was just that I think it would be fine, but my issue is mostly when raiding, I get 10-14 fps, it becomes hard to dodge stuff, execute the rotation well. etc. Althought my monitor is 2560 × 1440 I lowered it to 1920x1080 to get some extra fps.
nVidia Inspector changes not staying - MMO-Champion
2016年4月14日 · For some reason, whenever I make changes with nVidia Inspector, they seem to reset when the computer restarts. I mainly use the "Frame Limiter" to make sure that my games aren't going over 100 fps and straining the GPU (Team Fortress 2 goes over 400fps and even causes coil whine when that happens), and the nVidia frame limiter does properly cap it at 60fps, but after restarting the computer ...
RTX 50 series with WoW - mmo-champion.com
2025年1月15日 · Anyway, yes, a 1080ti can handle wow no issue with a proper, fast cpu with a high unlocked core speed. If you have a bad cpu and a 1080ti, and upgrade to let’s say a 3060ti, your fps may increase a bit but not a lot. Bc that bad cpu is what is bottlenecking your fps in wow. Upgrade that bad cpu and your fps will skyrocket. Wow is a weird game.
