2018年7月9日 · I am simply saying when comparing what was stated (1-6 vs 1-8) there are things that 1-6x scopes can actually do better. This is the reason you see more 1-6x SFP scopes in 3-gun competition.... because of the limitations of the reticle in FFP scopes, and too much magnification to be useful in 1-8x SFP scopes.

2020年7月8日 · I would just dismiss all lesser optics like 1-8×, 1-10×, and 2.5-10× right off the bat. A pet peeve of mine is mil reticles that have only .5 mil or .25 mil substentions. Since the clicks are .1 mil, a .2 mil substention lets you easily measure or aim in .1 mil incrememts and only the 18x and up scope offer that option.

2022年12月14日 · My original Accupower was 25 OZ's, and right from trijicon it was the same optic as the Credo 1-8, and the Credo HX 1-8 are now instead,with red and green illumination in one instead of two separate models. The credo 1–8 has a matte finish whereas the credo HX has a shiny finish. Credo 1-8 is 0.1 MRAD, and credo hx is 1/4 MOA adjustment.

2019年5月7日 · The Tomahawk should have locking turrets since the main area people us 1-4/1-8 scopes is in 3 gun or carbine matches or hunting. Areas where 98+% of the shots are 300 yds. and under. Those 3-6 shots in a match over 300 yds. the shooter can pop the turret up to turn it.

2018年1月28日 · I think the 1-8 market is tough. It seems they all fall short in one area or another. I have the NX8 on order and look forward to it but I will keep the 2.5-10x24 on the RECCE. I think the Khales 1-6 was the best all around scope I have owned. I waiting to see what Vortex has coming at shot... I hope they bring RAZOR 1-8 out to really mix it up.

Aside from the low end magnification, is there an advantage to a more standard scope up to 10x vs an LPVO type scope up to 10x? Is the larger objective of the standard type scope an advantage? Is an LPVO scope topping out at this range sacrificing something?

2017年12月20日 · Budget 1-8 scopes are about worthless on the higher magnifications. In fact, I'm going to sell the SE soon, to help fund a better 1-4 scope. The glass quality simply is not good enough to really be effective above 6x, even in broad daylight.
