Engine Difference in 06 WRX and STi | Subaru WRX Forum
Jul 10, 2006 · The STi has a larger VF39 turbo and a larger intercooler (been proven to be better than the WRX intercooler, just not THAT much better) The WRX is somewhere around 200WHP while the STi is about 240-250WHP. A WRX with the STi VF39, turbo back exhaust, STi intercooler, and a Cobb AP is rated at 285WHP. I beleive the exhaust is exactly the same ...

Nov 17, 2005 · I was checking out COBB's website...and looked at 2006 stage 2 WRX: Acceleration Data: 0-60 mph : 4.6 seconds 1/4 mile : 13.4 @ 101.5 mph (average times based on our customer's results) Comes with AccessPort, and TBE.
