COMLEX-USA assesses osteopathic medical knowledge, knowledge fluency, clinical skills, and other competencies essential for practice as an osteopathic generalist physician.

Osteopathic clinical skills—such as building a patient history, performing physical examination, structural examination and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), physician-patient communication and interpersonal skills, clinical decision making, and others—are essential to the practice of osteopathic medicine.

The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME), founded in 1934 as the National Osteopathic Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Inc., [1] [2] is a United States examination board which sets state recognized examinations for osteopathic medical students and began administering exams in February 1935.

Psychedelics can cause a person to hallucinate, seeing or hearing things that do not exist or are distorted. 1

2023年7月12日 · NBOMe (N-bombs) are a class of psychedelic drugs within the greater phenethylamine family. There are dozens of different NBOMe compounds in this group, but the most common, by far, is a chemical called 25I-N-BOMe. These compounds work through the same mechanisms as LSD, DMT, psilocybin, and mescaline.

NBOMes are amphetamine derivatives and highly potent 5-HT 2A receptor agonists. Clinical manifestations are a product of enhanced central sympathetic and serotonergic tone. We report two cases of NBOMe intoxication in patients who believed they used 25I-NBOME, while lab confirmation proved otherwise.
