2021年10月1日 · Hey everyone! I've always loved the look and sound of the Warwick basses but I'm largely unfamiliar with them. I've seen prices ranging from $500-ish all the way up to $2500 and beyond. Thumb bass, Corvette, Rock Bass, etc. Over the years I've probably demoed a few a local music stores but again, I couldn't tell you which models they were.

2016年9月10日 · I cant relate to other Warwick basses than my Corvette Std. Compared to other basses I have I specifically like. The feeling of high quality. The features that You also mention making a setup a real joy to do. It is not a P or J styled bass. It is relatively light in weight due to small body size. The narrow fretboard.

2021年1月4日 · As many others describe warwick basses, it has that kind of growly voice especially in the low-mid range, which I like pretty much. Someone would call it "agressive" someone else instead "very clear and defined", it is just how it sounds despite all the controls and makes it very different from a P or Jazz bass.

2018年6月4日 · Those basses are only available with the Warwick standard spacing of 16.5mm. I could be mistaken, as Warwick has expanded its options in the last few years to include various new wood and finish options, the 6-string version of the Stage II, the 7-string bass, etc. It's possible they've also made 16.5mm spacing available on a Stage I.

And eBay listings had some insane prices for used Warwicks (minimum 1400-1500 for the cheapest used Warwick.) So I eventually bought a B-stock 2017 corvette $$ from Warwick's site directly and I bought a used 2018 Streamer LX from a user in Japan, they are undeniably amazing basses and I wouldn't trade it in for anything.

Warwick has never failed to disappoint in terms of playability and tone for me. The Pro M is a beast that can go between a reasonable P bass sound to a jazz sound to a more complex Warwick growl. 2006年3月21日 · Serial number is available for every Warwick bass, remember that all Warwick basses come with a certificate and that has a serial number as well as various copies of the stickers that contain the serial number. If for any reason you can't find your serial number on the back of your headstock, please refer to the sticker, you should find it there.

2021年12月15日 · I have two MIG Warwick basses. The more expensive one (FNA 5 string bass - under $800, shipped). Been my main bass for years. Got a MIG Streamer Standard 5 (their entry level model when it was made) for $500 last year used from Guitar Center. Only thing I did to it was put an EMG booster in it (to bring it up to the same volume as the other one).

2020年3月23日 · I know Warwick is a very reputable company and there many bass players I love that play Warwick basses, Stuart Zander from Jamiroquai is a great example. But every time I get to play one I just find them so uncomfortable, and honestly, I don’t dig their tone either. My main bass is a Sire V7 Marcus Miller.
