Susan Hart (born Caitlin Swift) is the daughter of American shipping magnate Theodore P. Swift. After marrying a secret husband (Matthew Judge), Swift and Judge flee to Whitechapel, London, under the assumed names "Long" Susan Hart and Captain Homer Jackson.
