single-phase motor speed control - Forum for Electronics
2020年7月30日 · Basic disadvantage of single-phase (actually two-phase) motors is pulsating torque which restricts the operation at lower speed. Variable voltage/current control of single phase induction motors by dimmer, variac or variable resistor is only useful for drives that are stabilized by a speed dependentload torque e.g. fans or centrifugal water pumps.
speed control of an motor by V/f method using pic16f877
2013年4月14日 · i want control the speed of Single phase motor , means i have to generate 3phase pwm output with 2-pahse should be with 120Deg phase shift another one is 90deg phase shift . with this i need Variable voltage with Variable frequency output , and also called V/F .
Ac motor speed control | Forum for Electronics
2018年8月21日 · Hai friends, In my project I have to control speed of AC230V,50HZ,4A,single phase motor.I tried TRIAC BT136 with optocoupler 3041 but it switching on when the PWM is high but in low pulse its not working.....Then removed the optocoupler it working fine. Then used IRF540 but it always in ON...
Motor speed control for small 120V. AC. fans?
2004年7月30日 · It is a single pole, fully variable rotary speed control from Ace Hardware model 5A-120 AC for ten dollars ($10). It fits inside of a standard electrical box. I have used it on various small motors and have experienced no problems so far.
Single phase induction motor speed control - Forum for Electronics
2008年1月24日 · single phase speed control There is big difference between running fan and running regular single phase async. motor. Asynchronous motor is very sensitive to variations in voltage and can only be regulated by means of changing frequency. Fan acts as feedback device, having low torque required at low speed and high torque at higher speed.
speed control of single phase induction motor with TRIAC
2011年10月24日 · Look starting of motor has nothing to do with Speed control, as first motor has to start and go running then it will be possible to control speed. Here is a circuit to give you bit clarification of this: And if you want circuit notes, visit: AC Motor Speed Controller Any further help, if needed, is welcomed.
How to control speed and rotation of a single phase motor with …
2007年8月13日 · Re: single phase motor Hi In the first place you need an inverter - an H bridge with MOSFETs or IGBTs that convert the signals from command to the PWM signals to control the motor. If you want to know which way the drive is rotating, you need an encoder attatched to the shaft of the drive, and check a,b, and z index signals.
AC speed/frequency controller with Arduino - Forum for Electronics
2022年7月10日 · a good idea to run the motor off 48VDC first, also phase shift control is better as it shorts out the motor in between pulses - allowing it to rotate - 1Hz is unreasonable without multi pulse pwm to keep the currents in check - this is commonly done, e.g. 15kHz pwm with a 1Hz ac modulation, again phase shift, not straight pwm.
SCR based DC motor Speed Controller | Forum for Electronics
2006年4月19日 · I'm developing Motor Speed Controller for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM).I don't know why people love PWM so much for controlling the speed of the DC/AC motor.Every where I see is the PWM method for speed control, mostly in H-bridge manner equiped with transistors.I have my university final year project that is SCR based DC motor(1 ...
how to control dc motor speed using 4 to 20 ma - Forum for …
2010年3月9日 · You can use RCV420 from TI to convert 4-20mA to 0-5V. Then you can use this 0-5V to feed the reference voltage for a discrete voltage regulator. Choosing the gain with the resistor divider will allow you to set the scale of the motor voltage. The motor would be connected from the regulator output to gnd. Don't forget the freewheel diode.
