Scots-born Scott Wilson (aka WilsonAxpe Photography) took up wildlife photography in 2016 after chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 colon cancer forced him to avoid sunlight and he began shooting Colorado wildlife from the protective shade of his car.

Born and raised in Colorado, I began my photography career shooting the beautiful landscape that surrounds us here in Colorado. Much of it in local National Parks in Colorado. Before long, I discovered that I also loved capturing the beauty of people's emotions and special moments in portraiture photography.
