That would be listed on your W-2 as the Employer Identification Number EIN in Box b just above the Employer name and address. There should not be any Florida State Tax withheld in Box 17 on your W-2, so the program should not be asking for a state ID for Florida.

The Marine Corps W-2 Form does not have a state ID number for box 15. Boxes 15 and 16 are filled in, but the Employer's State ID Number and box 17 are blank and it won't let me continue unless i fill it in. I can only assume it's because out of state active duty members don't pay state taxes if not stationed in their home state.
