When iron on coverings came around in the late 60's / early 70's I quickly adopted Monokote and used that and many other film and fabric iron coverings to this day. Also used more traditional coverings such as silk or silkspan and dope among others.

2025年3月8日 · It’s not silkspan. I’ve covered with silkspan (paper like imo) and silk back in the day and the weave of the silk was much finer than what I see there. For a minute I thought maybe the wings were fully sheeted and had been covered with fiberglass. But on second look I see ribs. I’ve never used koverall so idk what the weave is like.

2025年3月29日 · Pulled the receiver from the plane. Connect a FrSky X8R receiver to the servos. I bound the FrSky X8R to a FrSky Taranis X9D plus running OpenTx 2.3.15. All smooth as silk. So I gave him the FrSky setup. My question is for you to speculate. Do you think it is a hardware issue or a software issue. If it is hardware there is nothing he can do.
