Find the "open_file_in_desktop_app":false and change it to read "open_file_in_desktop_app":true save the file and close it, relaunch Teams. It will now open files directly in the desktop app . 2025年2月25日 · Further, I cannot keep the "New" Outlook open for more than a few seconds. It closes immediately. And it won't accept my log in password. I use Outlook with Spectrum "Road Runner" email. Spoke with Spectrum tech. We were able to open email on web -- and my password worked fine. At this point, I can't use any Outlook version on my Windows computer.
