ERAS ® is a multimodal perioperative care pathway designed to achieve early recovery for patients undergoing major surgery. ERAS ® represents a paradigm shift in perioperative care in two ways. First, it re-examines traditional practices, replacing them with evidence-based best practices when necessary.
